Who We Serve

NW Florida’s Soccer Center of Excellence

We serve local youth through sports-based youth development, health, fitness, and outreach to underserved areas and military families.

We unite the Panhandle through a culture of belonging to a soccer family.

Club Vision

Our vision for Emerald Coast Rush is based on two premises:

First, despite a healthy network of sports programs in the area, there are still underserved portions of the youth population in Ft Walton Beach, Niceville, Destin, Crestview and surrounding areas, that could benefit from access to soccer facilities and well-planned activities. Youth sports activities are proven to reduce participation in gangs and drugs, which are both on the rise in the area. Emerald Coast Rush provides a safe, accessible outlet for youth development, and a way to unite people by inspiring a love for the game and a sense of belonging in the soccer family. We are committed to developing the skills of our young players and offering soccer as an alternative to and safe haven from illicit activities.

Second, there are 5 major military installations (and several smaller ones) between Pensacola and Panama City (Pensacola NAS, Hurlburt Field, Eglin AFB, 7th SFG, and Tyndall AFB). That military population brings with it a large number of military kids who need a place where they can easily and readily connect to the larger community, build friendships, and establish roots. This is how our club serves the families of those who serve and sacrifice for all of us. Natives of the Florida panhandle have been serving the military community for more than 50 years. The area enjoys an abundance of military retirees and their families who understand the sacrifices made from multiple moves and the importance of establishing a caring and respectful community. We are intentional about on-boarding military children and their parents into our soccer family in order to help all of us better connect.
