Looking for a fun, professional soccer environment where your child can stay active and improve their skills this season?
The Emerald Coast Rush Youth Development Program (YDP) has been expanded and improved, now offering additional training time and two dedicated game nights to give players even more opportunities to learn, compete, and grow.
Designed for boys and girls ages 6–11, YDP+ combines professional coaching, structured training sessions, and real game experience in an age-appropriate environment that keeps kids engaged while developing their soccer skills.
With more touches on the ball, more training time, and more chances to play, players improve faster while building confidence and enjoying the game.
Our program is led by professionally certified coaches who focus on the fundamentals of soccer — dribbling, passing, shooting, and decision-making — while also teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for the sport.
Many of our graduating seniors started their Rush journey in YDP at just six years old, and they often credit the program as the place where their passion for soccer first took off.
Whether your child is new to soccer or already showing promise, YDP+ provides the perfect balance of learning, fun, and development.

WHY YDP?
The purpose of the Youth Development Program Plus (YDP+) is to introduce young
players to early soccer skills, and to improve ball manipulation and psychomotor functions, which are necessary to play in a competitive environment.
This program offering is open to members and non-members.
YDP+ includes 6 unique training sessions and 2 game nights led by professional Emerald Coast Rush staff members.
All modules are with United States Soccer Federation licensed Emerald Coast Rush coaches.
